Best option for larger boobies (DDD)?

Jenna Whitt, on February 3, 2015 at 2:04 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 26

Hello, ladies! I am down to the wire, and haven't been able to find a strapless garment that will support my girls...I have had Lane Bryant suggested to me, but nothing on their website appears to be right - they honestly don't have much in the way of strapless, unless I'm looking in the wrong place. I'd rather pay more to cheat gravity as much as possible, so any recommendations would be dearly appreciated!!

Le Mystere is the best brand I've ever used, and they come in sizes A-J I think.

Not cheap, but will keep 'em up at all costs.

Try a corset. I'm the same size as you and had to wear strapless once. It was horrible. But i have done the corset once.

I am in the same boat and not sure what will work. You can try a normal strapless, just search the internet it even Amazon for your size, then use the fashion tape to help them stay up.

Yeah lane bryant doesn't have many options for strapless. That is where i get my regular bras and strongly recommend them for that. I bought the multi-way strapless bra from them for my sisters weding and hated it! I've never worn it again. I agree with above try a corset or a longbone bra. Check out

http://www.biggerbras.com/ they have some for those of use more blessed.

    Jenna,

I ordered the multi way strapless bra from Lane bryant and waiting for my order to arrive in store. I loved the way the corset looked on my that I tried on at Davids Bridal but it was pretty uncomfortable... and my seamstress is pretty head strong on girls not needing corset... But I did order the strapless from Lane Bryant to see how that works!

I actually have a sweetheart corset that I bought at Fredericks; either it wasn't tied correctly when I had my fitting, or it pushed the girls in instead of up, which just makes me look like a squashed muffin-boob...not good...

Let me know how the multi way comes out, Kelly! The corset I tried on at David's Bridal was ok, but it was $85...not that I won't pay that much, but it didn't do its job so well that I'm sold on it, if that makes sense...

I'm a 36DDD, this one is great, comfy and doesn't hit up as high on me as it does the model.

I went to a specialty store that actually makes bras to fit you and got a bustier. It wasn't cheap, but oh man was it worth it! I have some big girls (DDD as well) and this thing really supports the sisters!!

Le Mystere has what I call "actual sizing" and not VS sizing, so I recommend getting measured first! I found I wasn't a D, I was a DDD at the time. Not saying I jumped in size, but if I had bought the D it would've fit like a B that I was used to.

This is another good option, they use to carry a 'seamless' one too...

As bad as it sounds my pageant friends with big boobs swears by duck tape and it works great. You lean forward and kinda scoop them haha. Put some gauze over the "center" of your chest so it doesn't rip anything off when you take them off. I'm a DDD and only do duck tape now.

I'm on the search still. I haven't had much luck yet. My strapless ones from LB are okay, but I don't feel like they hold me up like I want to be. I'm an H cup and have searched online. I found linda's online, but I'm kind of scared to order lol
