Did you use faux greenery?

I am sure this board is on there somewhere, but I cannot find exactly what I am looking for.

I want to do garland down the tables at my reception (picture below), but don't want to spend way over my floral budget in real greenery (looking for eucalyptus/willow, etc.). I have seen some really great ideas with faux garland online and even purchased one that had great reviews on Amazon, but even 5 feet away, you can definitely tell it is fake. I feel like I have looked every where and fake garland is half the price of real.

If any of you used faux garland on your tables, how did it look? Where did you purchase it? Can I see your pictures?

OMG I am going to follow this board because I would love to see pictures!
We are wanting to put garland down the middle of our tables as well.

I was thinking about faux greenery, but decided I loved the real ones too much. Can you check Sam's Club or your local Kroger if you have one? Their floral departments are usually less than a traditional florist!

Our venue has faux garland that looks really great so we are using that with some real flowers mixed in to it.

That's beautiful! The one I bought to try definitely does not look that real! I wonder where they purchased it? That's awesome that your venue has that option!

We are using faux garland and flowers on our tables but we will be incorporating real floral and greenery to fill the gaps. The King table will have long garland down the center and the guest tables will have round arrangements with some floral arrangements.

These are gorgeous too!! You ladies are making me feel a whole lot more comfortable using faux greenery. I like the idea of mixing the two. I considered doing real roses with my faux greenery and real floral to also fill in the gaps.

My fiance and I are using faux flowers and faux greenery. Our budget is too small for real flowers & greenery unfortunately. But who wants to spend $5,000 on flowers when they can spend that on their honeymoon??!!
