Did you invite celebrities to your wedding?

I thought about, we have about 20 invites left over. But I put all the invites for our legit guests together, the last thing I wanted to do was assemble more

Sending an invite to their home address...found through google? I feel like maybe that's not really their address. Sounds too easy.

I sent one to Ellen, Mickey & Minnie and Cinderella & Prince Charming - mostly because I needed to test out printing the addresses on my envelopes.

Matlese, we have tons. 300 invites.

If you do invite them, I would not mail to their homes no matter how easy it is to find. I feel like that's too personal for someone you don't know.

We have a lot of Philly sports players who live in our town and I know where a lot of them live especially because my ex-husband is a mailman in the same town. However, there are only two whose homes I have been to because my kids are friends with their kids, and even those I wouldn't send a wedding invite to their home because I don't personally know them well enough.

We're sending invitations to Aaron Rodgers and Clay Matthews; FH is a HUGE Packers fan. If Clay Matthews did happen to show up at the wedding, there might not be one haha. He's my favorite NFL player.

We sent one to Bill Murray. We are huge fans and he spends a lot of time in Charleston as he part owns the minor league baseball team (and probably a bunch of other stuff) around here. He's apparently prone to popping in on random parties and the baseball field is a mile from our venue, so we are crossing our fingers that he makes a cameo :-)

We sent out about 10 extras. We've gotten one returned as nondeliverable and we got 1 RSVP so far. It was a lot of fun and hey, if they show up, SWEET!

@emma, what address did you sent it to? Their home or fan mail?

FW thinks I'm crazy but I'm sending one to Jason Aldean, Ellen, Tom Brady and Miranda Lambert.

ETA: There are a lot of sports players in our area and finding their addresses is really simple, especially because I worked for a high-end property management company for several years. However, I would never send an invite to their home, I think it'd be creepy.

So my neighbor is Shia LaBeouf...should I invite him? For all the crap he gets in the media he's actually a really nice person and a good neighbor.

I sent one to Eli Manning bc I love him and the NY Giants!!!! I sent one to Kenny Chesney bc FH is a huge fan and has never missed a concert until this year. I didn't tell FH I sent one to him. If he says yes I will surprise FH if he says no I will tell him. I sent it to their fan mail. Even though Eli lives down the block from my uncle.

We invited the Obamas. I expect them to attend. We have a lot of extra invites so maybe I will send out a few more.

I'm sending to the Obamas as they'll send back a signed letter wishing you well. I also might send one to Mickey/Minnie and Paul McCartney.

That seems like a fun idea. Our wedding is outside of Nashville so maybe I can invite some country signers or Kelly Clarkson she lives here and I love her.

We also invited The Obamas. I wonder how many invited they get. lol. FH wanted to invite Jay Z and Beyonce, but we couldn't find an address.

I agree, sending it to their house might be creepy. Or maybe they'll actually come because you're like the only ones who sent it to their house..

I wonder if any celebrities actually showed up to peoples weddings that sent invites? I cant imagine if a Backstreet Boy came to my wedding haha. I need to do this ...
