Did you invite celebrities to your wedding?

We sent out about 10 celebrity invites to their management/fan mail address. I threw Kacey Musgraves on stage when I was at her concert last week. She mentioned it in the concert and said there better be chocolate fountains and doves and everything. So that was cool.

We haven't gotten any of their RSVPs back.

My FH wants to invite Lebron but I told him no. That guy is a serious asshole. Really just an awful human being. Not wasting an invitation on him.

We're going to invite the Obamas.

you can usually find addresses online... the white house has a special address, mickie and minnie have an address and then the celebrity ones either went to fan mail addresses or agent addresses.

we only got responses back from the obamas and mickie and minnie. we hear NPH usually sends something back but it takes months. we're keeping our fingers crossed. but whatever.

@JClarke24 Taylor Swift has shown up to someones bridal shower or something. lol. that doesn't really surprise me though. tswizzle is awesome.

We sent an invitation to the White House and they will send you back a congratulatory message! I think, no matter what your politics, it's really cool to have a message from the President! We also sent invitations to Kobe Bryant (FH is a lifelong fan) and Ray Lewis )we are huge Ravens fans...note my avatar lol) but nothing back from them yet

@Amanda I'm inviting TSwift too Also I think my GMs are planning to tweet her to come - she has concerts in Toronto the night before and night of the wedding! I would love it if she popped in for a drink!

Just wondering, what do I do when they don't RSVP back? Do I need to call them? Maybe publicly shame them on their Facebook page for having terrible etiquette? Just asking.

I invited some celebrities, but only ones that I've known on some level. only one was what I would call A list.

others was one of my cousins who gets so irritated when I call him a celebrity and friends that I've known from theater work that went on to be in some shows and plays.

one has been on fraiser, and at least one episode of star trek, small or bit parts.

another is a 'celebrity of the science world' kind of like that episode on friends where some woman comes up to Ross going on about how she loved his work, but didn't recognize soap opera star joey because she didn't own a tv known him for about 23 years now
