Yes we went to the jewelry store where he bought my engagement ring to look together. I bought his that day and he had to special order mine. He made it a miserable experience for me, but I think it would have been really fun under different circumstances.

No. He picked out my ring and band without me even knowing he was going to propose. I ended up buying his ring online, though I did have a bit of input from him.

Mine was a set, but we went shopping for my FW’s together.

We actually won free wedding bands and the choices to me were limited because I am very picky. I can't wear anything but a simple band at work so that band will be the one I wear to work. I do have another wedding band I bought after showing it to my FH and it compliments my ring nice

So four years ago he proposed with what he could afford, a $40 walmart ring. We decided to get some rings custom made for our forever rings. They'll be based on two of our favorite pokemon since when we first met, we bonded over our love of pokemon. (And if I was going to grow out of pokemon I would've some time in the past 20 years so I'm not worried about getting tired of the design haha.) We haven't gotten the mockup yet, and it was a last minute decision but our jeweler assured us she could have it done on time. So in a way, yes, we did pick them out together, because we designed them together to match. (For any pokemon fans in the room, the pokemon in question are Espeon and Umbreon, the same pokemon we got for our custom cake toppers.)

Nope. I bought mine through an etsy shop. FH won't be wearing a wedding band, instead he will get getting a tattoo ring but I won't see it until the day of our wedding next Sunday.

We went together to choose both my engagement ring and wedding bands. I purchased his online his choice out of a few that he picked out he liked.

I ordered FH's on Etsy and surprised him with the design. FH also ordered my band on Etsy, but I gave him an exact type. I can be super picky!
