Did you get marry in Mexico's beaches during rainy season?

Hello y'all

I'm kind of in a debate on my wedding planning. You see, I want to get married in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco on June 26th, 2026 specifically. But I've warned continuously whenever I bring up the date Because May- July are rainy seasons. I asked the hotels there, and they said the same thing but seemed like they wanted to convince me either way of going. So I'm trying to summon up all 2022-20 brides that got married in June, in Mexico (if you get married to the beaches close to Puerto Vallarta).

My sister lived there and June tends to be the low season (much cheaper) in Puerto Vallarta due to the heat, extreme humidity, and the heavy rains. Also, if you are a US citizen, you cannot legally get married there. You would need to get married in the US (courthouse or otherwise) and then have a symbolic ceremony in Mexico.

Sorry, I accidentally hit reply before finishing my post. You can get married in a civil ceremony in Mexico if you don't live in Mexico. However, there are a few hoops to jump through, but a wedding coordinator could help with that.

I mean I've been to PV in early June. It was hot/humid/rainy. My AC died in my room and I was lying on the tile floor covered in wet towels so I didn't overheat. I would suggest having a look at the weather history in that area for the month of June to see if it's something that you and your guests can handle. PV is a beautiful area though! I love it there.
