Did you buy your bridesmaids' jewelry?

If you're requiring them to wear specific jewelry, you're responsible for the cost. I personally don't care what my bridesmaids wear and am just letting them choose, so they will pay for their own or wear something they already have.

I think if you want them to wear specific jewelry, you should be paying for it. I’ve never seen bridesmaids wear matching jewelry and will just tell my girls to wear whatever they already own/love.

I didn't buy mine jewelry but I'm also not dictating what they wear. I think if you want them to wear specific jewelry you should buy it. Or, you could simply suggest please wear studs, for example.

I didn't buy them jewelry. Most of my friends that were bridesmaids receive jewelry from their significant others and family alllll the time as gifts and they are sick of it (and have no place to put any more). So I got them gifts they'd appreciate a little more, and didn't make any requirements on jewelry because you won't really see it in photos anyway. I just asked everyone not to wear a crazy amount of jewelry.

I did not get my girls jewelry - I allowed them to wear whatever they wanted. Just like I didn't expect them to wear the same dress, I didn't expect them to have the same taste in jewelry.

As others have said, if you are requiring they wear something specific, yes, it is in good taste/expected that you pay for that item

I’m not getting jewelry for my girls. Originally I was thinking of an Alex & Ani bangle for each of them (to wear whenever) but I forgot one of my bridesmaids has a lot of sensitive skin allergies so I don’t want anyone to have a reaction. So no jewelry or lotions or anything in my gifts

I am purchasing Kendra Scott earrings for them as part of their gift. Some of them already have the earrings that I am wanting them to wear for the wedding so instead of buying them a second pair of the same earrings I am buying them a gift card so they can get what they want there and wear the earrings they already have. I also found some super cute inexpensive bracelets for all of us to wear.

If you want them to wear something specific on the wedding day I would buy it for them. I bought jewelry for my BMs but left it up to them to decide if they wanted to wear them on the wedding day, and I got them some other gifts too. But if you don't mind what jewelry they wear I would just suggest a general style - gold, pearl, sparkly, silver etc... and let them choose their own pieces.

My gift to them was a kendra scott necklace I wanted them to wear for the wedding. I don't care what earrings they wear (if any at all) so I didn't purchase those. But since I wanted them to wear simple necklaces for the wedding I bought those.

I got mine jewelry. i am not expecting them to wear it on the wedding day though or at all, it was just some cute stuff i saw and wanted to get for them.
