Detachable sleeves or any coverage option apart from wraps...

Gee O. aka Happily Wifed Up, on February 24, 2012 at 5:21 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 12

Is anyone using detachable sleeves of any sort?

If yes, where di d you get them? I am looking for something to cover up since I am wearing a strapless dress. I have seen sleeves at davids bridal but I wanted to check if there is any other option? Here is a picture of my dress

Any ideas?

A lace or sheer shrug could look pretty?

Oh dear! the second one I like, but I was thinking odf staying away from lace, for some reason I have it in my head that lace on my satin dress would not go(please tell me Im wrong!). Lol. Secondly I do want a shorter sleeve, most likely sleeveless since it is a summer wedding...but for sure this #2 has me happy!

The problem is where do they get these things from?

I wore a shrug that ties in the back. Completely detachable. But my mother, who is 70 did not think it was appropriate for brides to have bare shoulders. So to appease her, I wore the shrug during the ceremony.

I got it from an etsy designer at http://www.etsy.com/shop/VioGemini?ref=seller_info. She has several on her site that might work really nicely with your dress.
