I am using something borrowed blooms. They are silk florals that you rent. They are beautiful and about 1/3 the cost of real flowers that I wouldn’t have been able to see beforehand anyway.

I'm not having a "destination" wedding in the sense that it's outside of the U.S., but we are getting married at a resort near a popular tourist destination and I was astounded by how much flowers cost. My wedding coordinator let me know that due to Covid the prices have gone way up (along with so many other things Smiley angry ) so we just ordered the minimum of bouquets and boutonnieres. It was still over $1000 but I also wanted a talented floral designer who does beautiful hand-tied work that is more labor intensive.

We had a destination wedding in Orlando, FL. We spent $1,050 on:

    - bridal bouquet
    - 8 bridesmaids bouquets
    - 10 centerpieces
    - 3 corsages
    - 3 palm plants

I really didn't like our florals and wish I paid more for a better florist. I just went with the first who replied to me first rather than evaluating multiple options. Live and learn! We didn't have a budget for flowers and didn't want a ton of ceremony or reception decor because our venue was gorgeous on its own, so the details we did have could have been incredible.

Destination wedding for me (outer banks nc) vs getting married in northern Virginia...
I’m spending about $800 on florals but a big chunk of that (aside from bridal bouquet costing 125) is the delivery fee. The florist I picked is outside of outer banks so definitely had to pay for that.

Oh man, ours ended up being expensive because they combined it with decor and rentals. We spend $4900

We are getting married in South America and we are paying for center piece $100 US. My bouquet is $80

So all depends how many people and tables we need. We got a quote for those flowers here in the states and each center piece was $450 US
