Date twin! My wedding is also July 29, 2022. I would first reach out to those who haven't RSVP'd by your deadline to give them one more chance to reply. I would wait until after the deadline has passed before reaching out. Something along the lines of, "Hello! The RSVP deadline for our wedding was this past Sunday, and I just wanted to remind you that we still haven't heard back from you yet. We need to give our final counts to our caterer. Can you please submit your RSVP by tomorrow?"

Lisa's approach is the way to go. Sometimes things get lost in the mail, things slip people's minds, etc. If you still haven't heard back by the deadline, just reach out the day after (usually phone calls are better so you get a response rather than no reply to an email or text), and let them know you need a response by X date to give your vendors the final headcount and if you don't hear back by that time you'll assume they can't make it.

Congratulations on your destination wedding. I’m also a destination bride. Give people the benefit of the doubt that they haven’t probably received it yet. However apply pressure . The knot has reminder text messages you can send out.

I tried to gather everyone's emails for this reason and sent out a mass RSVP reminder shortly before the deadline (Zola let's me do that). I'll also reach out again to everyone individually if I don't hear from them by Tuesday. My date is July 24th and also "international" for most guests. 😊
