Hi Brenda, happy engagement! Santa Barbara is quite popular in the bridal magazines for lavish weddings, and you can find many real weddings listed including associated vendors. On WW, you can search Santa Barbara weddings under Ideas tab- Real Weddings. For Churches, the old missions are gorgeous and there's one in SB. My cousin got married at Mission San Luis Obispo. Whichever Church you choose, try to lock down their interview schedule as they are under diocese rules. Ultimately though, you can't have a date until you get both venues. Best wishes! I would just talk to them. Tell them your vision, budget, etc. they’re very experienced and can guide you in the right direction with vendors and venues. They’re also more affordable than I ever thought.
My wedding is next Saturday, I can also message you after about how that went with them.
