Destination Wedding for Large Group

walko1sn, on April 25, 2017 at 11:22 AM Posted in Planning 0 13

My fiancé and I are trying to plan a destination wedding that is affordable for our guests & us, is all-inclusive, and has a beautiful beach/scenery. We were looking for resorts in Mexico or the Caribbean. Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions??

We are getting married in Negril Jamaica. I found a RIU hotel that's all inclusive and besides the wedding, is what we normally spend on a week vacation. We have about 30 people coming

Mexico is pretty reasonable. The have 5 star resorts as well as more affordable ones. I have 60 people attending my DW

We are getting married at Santos Finisterra in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. It's an all inclusive resort. They have an all inclusive wedding package that includes all the necessities for the wesding and the option to add on or upgrade if it's wanted. They also have reasonable rates for guests (rates will depend on the time of year you are looking for though.) They have a couple options for the ceremony and reception locations. I think the largest has a max of 120 guests.

FH and I are having our DW next month at the Riu Montego Bay in JA. It's all inclusive and they had a package that worked perfectly for us. We're having about 60 guests attending.

We are looking at Hawaii for a DW since you don't need passports! We will have about 15 guests. How has destinationweddings.com been? I can't seem to get in contact with anyone there!

We had our DW on Singer Island, FL (pretty much West Palm Beach). We invited 100 and had 80 come. It was nice because it was a quick flight for more east coasters and it requires no passport Smiley smile

No specific locations I can recommend but with my DW I will say that affordability is important, but so are other things like how much notice you give guests, if the location is zika free, and the timing (like not near a holiday etc)
