Destination Wedding - Day of Wedding Timeline

Erin, on January 21, 2015 at 1:20 PM Posted in Planning 0 4

I did a search and found nothing on this topic - surely there has to be some people out there who have done / are doing a destination wedding and wondered this... Smiley smile

I'm looking to see what everyone else did during the day. We have a 2pm wedding ceremony (20 minutes in length) and a 530pm dinner - between i'm sure I will be doing pictures and enjoying some Air Conditioning in the room.

What did all other destination brides do on their day of?

Were having our ceremony at like 430 and then we're doing a cocktail hour and then dinner. I think we will have to end up doing pictures before the ceremony but there might be enough time after. I will have to look into it (thanks for the reminder)

My timeline is similar to NorthernMN, except my ceremony is at 3:30 and we are doing a first look and bride/groom photos right before the ceremony. No receiving line for us (but we are doing cookies and milk post-ceremony) and then our wedding dinner is at 6pm about 20 minutes from the ceremony space.
