I am getting married about 8 hours away from where I live (wedding is in Vegas). I have no friends or family who live there and do not have time to go to the location before the wedding on October 10, so no way to have a taste test. I will be arriving in the city two days before the wedding, probably later in the day, so I don't think I could schedule a testing at that time.
I heard some suggest having the place ship you samples, another said to try to do a taste test locally to at least get an idea of flavors you will like, while the final suggestion I heard was to trust the baker.
I am curious what you guys think is the best solution?
