Destination Wedding and a Bridal Shower

Hi everyone! We have decided to have a destination wedding. We will be inviting all of our family and friends. Do you think it is still ok to have a bridal shower or do you think that would be rude? For me it's not really about the gifts but the bridal experience.

As long as those you invite to the bridal shower are also invited to the wedding, there is nothing wrong with this at all!

I think it is important and very kind of you to take into consideration how much its going to cost your guests to go to your destination wedding. If we are talking thousands then I would have a bridal lunch and say gifts are not expected. So its still a pre wedding celebration but your guests don't feel obligated to spend more money, if they really want to bring a gift they will . Happy planning

The destination wedding will likely cost guests around $1,500. Thank you, that's a good idea!
