Deposit down for wedding cake !!

This is the photo we gave our bakery! I think we're doing a caramel flavor (gold cake with caramel buttercream), and a lemon raspberry cake (lemon cake with white chocolate raspberry filling)

I'm the bride who gave no fucks about her wedding cake. I called a bakery, told them I wanted a two tier simple cake and I would drop off fake flowers for them to use, then some sheet cakes.

It was great, and I didn't stress.

SoonToBeStarkey ,,, I understand that !! I was the same with my florist . I said I know nothing About flowers here is Kinda the look I am going for ... go with it . ( a family friends mom owns a very popular well known florist in town so we are getting the family discount) wasn't too much into the cake until we went today and I decided this may be my favorite thing I'll get to plan !! But so many options ! Haha

Will be a combo of these that i gave to my cake vendor!

I'm toying around with the idea of a semi-naked cake, but some of my icing loving guests might kill me in my sleep...

This will be my cake, working with a great person who is known for his amazing work he will recreate this for my wedding maybe change it up including the way it's set up like it's in the air loll

Very pretty. Not overdone or too foofy.

I'm toying with this one since we are getting married in TN and FH is a UT alum. I thought a big orange cake would be fun.

This is the only cake DF and I both agreed we love, so we're going with it!

ETA: For flavors, we are looking at:

Mine: almond cake with white chocolate raspberry mousse

FH's: marble cake with Bavarian cream filling

Top tier: chocolate cake with "grey stuff" filling (cookies and creme mousse)

This was our wedding cake. We went simple and just the bottom chocolate with icing filling and the middle as white with strawberry filling. Since we kept the top tier we did chocolate and icing filling. It was DH's favorite. I don't care for cake to much but it was all delicious.

But the top will have dark purple and the white flower edges too

Our cake as advertised by our baker, but flowers will be purple not orange. Love our cake! Butter yellow cake and I believe butter cream frosting.

White cake with buttercream frosting and alternating raspberry/lemon filling.

And probably some additional Costco sheet cake.

I kinda fell in love with somewhat simplistic! Just adding a high five cake topper cause we are nerds and high five a lot lol

All the cakes are beautiful! I went with an amazing cake company, their cakes are to die for, they are so delicious. I am on a kinda tight budget cutting corners where I can, they gave me an amazing idea. Do a 1 tier cake for FH and I to cut into, the. Do the rest cupcakes. We decided to go that route because it saved us 60$! But when we went in we had no idea of what we wanted the cake to look like, we fell in love with a style there

This is our wedding cake inspiration (4 tiers). Marble cake with chocolate beverian cream and fresh banana cake with strawberry. I LOVE chocolate, FH not so much so we each chose a flavor.
