Decorations- What are you using?

For aisle decor, we plan to do bunches of greenery on the outside seats. We also have flower arrangements for our arch. Our centerpieces are lanterns with flowers, greenery, and candles. Our venue comes predecorated with string lights, so we’ll just be adding a few signs along with wood crates and various cake stands. Here are our inspo pictures.

This is all we have: centerpieces, cake table, sweetheart table, welcome table, and signage. Our venue will already be decorated for the holidays, so not much left to do on our part. My bouquet is going to go on the sweetheart table, and the bridesmaids' on the cake table, during the reception.

My venue will house both the ceremony and reception in different rooms of the same barn. I’m getting married in Nov 2020 & I want to use lots of greenery.

Ceremony space is bright and the “backdrop” is a HUGE stone fireplace so we will be be decorating with greenery on the posts, as well as a large swag on the mantle of the fireplace. Filling the fireplace with candles and lining the aisle with lanterns.

Lanterns, candles, and greenery will be repurposed for the reception. There’s already (thankfully) a ton of twinkle lights strung up! So we’ll just decorate with additional rustic touches like wood rounds, the lanterns, and the greenery.

Wow, Megan!! That sounds so... rustic and elegant at the same time! My venue has two fireplaces as well, so I'm intending on decorating the mantles with candles too! I love the lantern idea, lining the aisle. That sounds so pretty. And the greenery adds a fresh touch. I am really loving your decor vision. Thank you so much for your input!!

Lots of greenery. Fabric pumpkins. pine cones. cinnamon sticks. very fall like things and then some fairy lights and DIY signs.

Our venue offers different decoration. We got a package that has the ceiling lights and all kinds of extras as well as the backdrop behind the “stage” where we will have our table in the reception hall. The venue provides lanterns in the reservation so I found some fairy lights on wish that we will be using in them. We really wanted to keep it simple in the ceremony. Lanterns lining the aisle. We wanted to do them on shepherds hooks. Haven’t made up our mind yet on that. We may get some flower peddles and have them line the ground. Then the alter have some flowers on the back part. For reception I wanted to transfer the lanterns to the tables and try a little greenery. I also really loved the idea of books and a tea cup with simple flowers.
