Traditionally, this was done by the groomsmen. There’s no real way to be certain that stuff won’t fly off, so I’d make sure that anything used is environmental friendly and won’t hurt any animals if lost. Balloons, for instance, are terrible.

They make markers specifically for writing on glass/windows. I would start there and then get creative!

However, we will still honor our original chosen date to cut our cake, have lunch, and do an outdoor photoshoot. My groomsmen and bridesmaids are my adult kids, so I will kill time to distract myself for this “postponement-sadness” with wedding stuff.


I am planning to use tulle and plastic flower wreath. I think I will use the car for the photoshoot only. The location of the park is only a couple blocks away, so I can drive slow and have the roof open.

Now I just need a sign in the back. We are renewing our vow, hopefully in a few month or next year. This is just to honor our original date of renewal.
