Daytime Wedding

Yeraldin, on July 2, 2020 at 1:26 PM Posted in Planning 0 3
We’re still in the planning process but so far we’ve decided on having a small noon wedding on my SO birthday which falls on a Friday next year with an estimated guest count of 35, it’s mostly family. At the moment we don’t plan to serve alcohol just probably coffee, lemonade, tea and water. I’d like to serve donuts, conchas, and fruit as appetizers during “cocktail” hour followed by grilled onsite steaks and chicken. I’m still not sure if we plan to have a first dance or a lot of traditional items so I’m not sure if we should still hire a dj or hire a band for the ceremony as well as background music while we eat. Centerpieces I’m hoping to have a ton of flowers and let our guest take them home if they’d like. I’d love to know what you guys think, things you guys are planning on doing or things you left out or added for a daytime wedding Smiley laugh we want to keep things simple as we’d like to spend the rest of the day between the two of us and celebrate his birthday.

If you don’t plan to do much dancing I’d use a Spotify playlist rather than hiring a dj

I think your plans sound lovely! Smiley heart If anything I'd spring on some awesome ceremony musicians, like strings players who could do your ceremony music and maybe even stay for some cocktail hour or dinner music!
