Days off work before wedding?

I'm taking off a week before my wedding

I plan on only taking two days.. thursday and friday for a saturday wedding. When I tell people that, they are like "Really only two days?" uhh yeah...?

I'm planning on at least 2 days off before the wedding then I'm going on an 8 day cruise.

and then when we come back we'll be moving into our new place so another few days. so About 2 weeks total from start to finish.

Im fortunate bc we can do shift exchanges at work up to 60 days before or after so im going to attempt to take the whole month off

Hey Date Twin!!! I plan to take Wednesday and Thursday before the wedding and Monday and Tuesday after the wedding to run errands/return anything rented and just soak it all in :-)

We took off only the day before the wedding (to get the marriage license and the court waiver of the three-day waiting period, check into the accommodations, have our nails done, meet with the rabbi, and have the welcome dinner). We also had a day of traveling to the wedding location before that, but it was on a Sunday, so it didn't involve time off work.

We did take off three days after the wedding to travel back home, and set up for the at-home reception. But we didn't take a honeymoon.

Taking the wednesday and thursday off prior to my friday wedding

I am thinking of taking off the wed thru friday before, but will have a week after for our honeymoon. wish i could take off more, because i think i will need it.

I plan to take a week off before my wedding and a week after to fulfill our typical summer vacation home. We will have our honeymoon later on in the year.

I am taking Friday off and maybe Thursday or at least a half day on Thursday. Then have the week off afterwards for my honeymoon cruise. Trying to decide if I want to take the Monday off after the honeymoon just to get settled in because we won't get back till early evening on Sunday. But I also don't want to use all my time up in the beginning of the year as I am getting married in March.

I'm getting married on a Friday, so I'm taking Thursday, a half day Wednesday and the Monday off. We are both off for 2 weeks for the honeymoon over New Years!

I'm nowhere near planning to that point just yet. But I feel weird calling off or requesting off of work that isn't necessary for financial reasons. I'm one of those "well I could be making money" people. And if I'm already calling off a couple days for the wedding then potentially a week or two for the honeymoon, I would be uneasy about taking additional days off. Unless I had like a months worth of vacation pay that I knew I wasn't going to use, then hell yeah hahah.
