Ryeanne moved to Easton, Maryland in August 2011 and worked as an itinerate teacher of the visually impaired throughout 3 counties on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. As she was being introduced to new coworkers, one of them kept saying "Oh you need to meet Mr. I! He's a cutie" Ryeanne refused to believe them. At the time, Dominick was continuing to work with a special needs student at Kent County High School. On a Wednesday, Ryeanne came in to meet the student, and met Dominick as well. There was an instant attraction between the two of them. As Ryeanne left the high school that day, she sent a text message to her best friend Christina saying "There is this guy working with one of my students and he is really cute" This is something that is very out of character for Ryeanne. And her coworker was correct. Wednesday became Ryeanne's favortie day of the week. A few weeks later, Dominick and Ryeanne were texting and he was taking a class near where she lived. Jokingly, she told him to skip it and come over... and he did. They went to Rusticana for pizza and then went and hung out at Ryeanne's apartment. The rest is history.
