Just curious, How long did you and your partner date before being engaged? My husband and I dated for exactly 3 years before he proposed. We made it official 10.06.16, he proposed 10.06.19, and we got married 10.06.20 What about you?

    I think I would've been pressing my husband if it took 7 years Smiley xd I was ready to get married lol but thankfully so was my husband

    My fiancé and I were together for exactly 5 years before they proposed! I have known them since I was twelve, but we didn’t start dating until 6/27/16 and they proposed on 6/27/21. We had lived together for a year and a half before we got engaged as well Smiley smile

    They/them are the pronouns that Margaret’s fiancé uses. Some people use he/him, some use she/her, some use they/them, some people use a combination, such as she/they, etc. Pronouns reflect the gender identity of the person they are used for. I don’t know how Margaret’s fiancé identifies, but many friends who use “they/them,” self identify as gender non binary or as genderqueer, etc.

    Gotcha, thank you for explaining. I know some people include their kids with proposing etc so I wasn't sure if that was the case or not.

    Awe that’s awesome! We were planning to marry on our 5th anniversary next year, then just a couple of days ago we changed everything and decided to have a small destination wedding in Ireland in July of next year.
