Renata, on August 30, 2010 at 2:51 PM Posted in Planning 0 11

I am having a wedding in a big open room with tons of windows. it will be a daytime, garden wedding. ceremony and cocktails outside and sit down meal inside. will dancing work during the day? we will have open bar and all that. I know people won't drink as much however has anyone been to a daytime wedding with dancing?

I think so... I mean you can dance anytime you want... and play some romantic music and I am sure some folks will be dancing!

I am also having a daytime wedding and we will definitely be dancing. However, it is Vegas, so people will be drinking!

No matter how early the wedding will take place, dancing is always great!

All your guests will enjoy dancing, drinking and celebrating with you and your future husband your special day! So let’s have a dance!

Heck yeah there will be dancing!! We are getting hitched at 10:30am-outside under a tent followed by a Cocktail hr from 11-12.(also outside-fingers crossed for good weather) Dinner following, open bar and dance like it's your job!! Bring on the FUN!! It's your wedding the only rules you have to follow are the ones you set for yourself

If there is alcohol there WILL be dancing lol. Also maybe depends on the crowd too as to how bumpin it will get; songs you pick can also draw people to the dance floor. I'm sure it will be fine! :-)

I've only been to one daytime wedding, and there was only a little dancing. It was actually kinda sad because the bride really wanted to dance, and not many people would dance with her. That said, I think it had more to do with the crowd than the time of day.

When did it become a rule that people could only dance after dark? If there's music people want to dance to, and there are people who want to dance, it doesn't matter what time of day it is.
