Craft Project - wedding party favors

Misty, on May 23, 2019 at 8:29 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 14
So my FH and I have a ton of out of town friends and family so we are having a rehearsal dinner happy hour to welcome them into Nashville the night before the wedding. We are putting together favor bags for them... with a mini guide to Nashville, Jack daniels 50ml, Jack Daniel's truffles, a spark energy supplement stick pack, a rehydrate anti hangover stick pack, an individual advil pack, and a lip balm. I'm making these little cards to mount the balm on. I'm loving being crafty! Does anyone else have ideas or have already done this successfully?! Here is my progress so far... this is just a rough draft. I am hoping to do this on oatmeal cardstock with sharp black font.

I bought sheer navy organza draw string bags in bulk from amazon. Just big enough to fit everything

Yes! I'm making table runners out of old book pages and black and white photos of us!!!! Also doing gold painted whiskey bottles and making the arbor. And I've also designed all of the menu cards and table numbers etc.... I am having so much fun being creative.

Thank you girl!!! Pinterest inspired, I bought some old books at the goodwill... like love poems, wine 101, Washington (where groom is from) old Hollywood stuff, Charles dickens.... made sure they were old and dusty pages. Then ordered 10 copies each of our engagement photo off of online print service with a coupon code.... we discovered that double sided tape works better due to glue being sticky and thick with pages being set delicate. We are storing them under a bed on top of a sheet, covered in a sheet til the wedding. Then plan to roll the stack up like a map and deliver to the venue! Super affordable total cost was $65 for everything.

Will you have centerpieces on the tables also?

Yes... doing some small greenery sprigs and some painted bottles with a few scattered candles. All of the bottles were free... collected over many years in the liquor business. And the votives for the candles are sourced as well. From old bushmills bottles cut down to votive size. The sprigs of greenery average to about $12 per table. Paint for bottles and battery tea lights total cost breakdown per table was approx $3. So by keeping the cost lower we could put more of our budget into food and party!!!
