Yes socks. make sure they come above your ankle! they wont bother your legs at all, but your poor ankles might get rubbed. so no need for high socks, just socks that cover your ankle (:

I disagree with Kristen about the height, but I'm picky about my socks...when I wear a skirt or dress with boots, I HAVE to wear socks that are calf height (or just a bit shorter than the height of the boot). If I wear ankle socks or footie socks, it feels like the sock is falling down in the boot and I am constantly reaching in to pull it up, but cant, obviously.

I've also had boots chafe my calf if I had worn them too long because the leather was constantly rubbing against my leg in the same exact spot and it became uncomfortable by the end of the night

I am also wearing boots (a beautiful pair of Lagrange) and I am wearing semi-tall socks that go 1/2 way up my calf, but you can't see them.

Although, they make "wedding" socks that are frilly and lacy to wear on your wedding with boots. My gram got me a pair, although they are a lil over the top for me.

Just wear mid calf socks! That is what I am wearing.

You don't need to wear anything with your boots!

You need to wear something, otherwise you'll end up with blisters. I'd wear socks at least as tall as the boots. You can roll them down into the boots for pictures, otherwise no one is going to see them.

Definitely wear above the ankle socks! and if they are new boots make sure you get them broken in, because even if you have socks on you can still end up with blisters if they arent broken in. Im wearing boots as well =)

I wear socks that are almost as high as the boot. above the ankle socks always feel like they are falling off! I dont want to mess with them.
