My heart goes out to every couple having to face cancellations or postponements in the upcoming months. It really truly sucks. But I also wanted to reach out to all the couples (like me) who were at the beginning of their wedding planning journeys and now find themselves treading water. For me, we had just picked our top venue options to tour before we had to stay home (we live in NYC) and are just paused at this time. We can't pick our date until we pick our venue, but we wont get to see any of our venues in order to pick one for months, which means we can't hire any other vendors or make big decisions for months... It isn't the same as cancelling or postponing, but it still isn't a fun spot to be in. Especially after being together 8 years before even being engaged, we were really excited to dive into the whole process. How are the rest of you early planners coping?
