We were originally getting married on 04/25 this year, but with everything happening with COVID-19 we have postponed our wedding until 9/5! Can't wait to share this day with all of you lovely ladies.

Now to rebook a photographer and DJ

Happy Friday Everyone. Hope this message finds you all doing well. How are you feeling about everything thats going on with Covid19? Do we think that our day will still be able to go on as planned? Just wondering what you all are thinking. I think that it will be fine but I'm getting a few conflicting responses. Thanks for any feedback. Love you all.

Hi. We are waiting until May before making a decision. If everything continues the same or worse, we will change everything possible to a small ceremony. We don't want to spend a lot of money in this times, especially if the economy is going to be affected and many will be out of work. In the end, I feel blessed to have my family and the man I love by my side.

I am staying calm and monitoring things sporadically with COVid-19 so I decided to hault all engagements with vendors until we have a comfortable clearance to attend events again.

We are sticking to the date until June then will be making arrangements for a later time. Maybe 2021 since a lot of my guests are coming in from out of town. I am praying that this does not last until then.

I booked everything and my bridesmaid purchased their dress I have my dress so I am praying this thing is over and done with before then. We have a lot of events coming up in the summer months so it is hard but I am not going to stress over it. Putting everything in God's hands.

I completely understand we are in the same boat. I'm waiting until end of May to finalize my new date in 2021 if we have stable clearance. Our family and friends are people who love to have a good time and with this change of events will really kill the moment. It's better to be safe than sorry to work on a solid plan B

Wow that's great your way ahead. My groomsmen were now getting their look for their suits finalized before this happened so now that's on the backend.🤦‍♀️ The bridesmaids paid for their dresses, just has to be made. But as far as decor etc there is still work to do and the time may not be enough after the pandemic.

Hi! September 5th here, too! I have the mindset that everything will be okay by then, and I only start to panic when I read that others around my date have pushed it or when people ask me if my wedding is still happening. 😬 I already have all my vendors booked, flowers are done, my dress and shoes are payed for, all my bridesmaids have their dresses except one, the suits have been decided...so I'm really hope we don't have to change anything!

Anyone else having an outdoor wedding? Ours is on family property, so we didn't have to worry about a venue, but tents were so much more expensive than I thought!

Ladies. Panic mode has officially set in. I’ve been worried since this pandemic began, but now that it’s only about 3.5 months out I don’t know what to do! We are finally starting to think about a plan b but don’t even know how to go about it! I’m really struggling with giving up the whole church and reception wedding. I’ve had one dream of how my wedding day should be... as traditional as traditional can get so this is extra hard. Our plan was to start trying to have a baby right after we got married so that’s what is also making this very hard. Who’s postponed? Who’s still holding on to hope it will happen? I just don’t know what to do!! All my vendors are set and I’m so worried I won’t be able to reschedule them for a near future date. I just feel so lost on what to do!

Hey Christina- We just started talking to family about postponing. I hate the idea of waiting another year but its less stress. I literally was about to sign all my other contracts right as Covid started and delayed up till today. So in all we don't have everything together and ready for September 5th. If we continue everything will be rushed and last minute since like you we have 3 months left🤦‍♀️.
I'm also with you on planning to have a baby....I'm getting closer to borderline age but I'm comfortable with trying next year when hospitals have a better handle of this mess we are in. I'm trying everyday to stay positive and pray but its hard lol at least on the bright side we all have a wedding to look forward to and not single eh. The worse part is the WAITING.....and in life we all hate waiting and being in limbo for things we really really want ....I'm a big believer that everything happens in the right moment for the BEST. Who knows what will happen on the other side of this..we may all in for a huge treat and look back at these messages and say thank god everything happened the way it did! 😍😍😍

I just worry on my end it’s going to end up being more stress trying to find a common date all my vendors and venue have open and it could extend even more than a year! I was so quick with getting everything taken care of and this is what happens.

My biggest fear is we are going to postpone and switch everything and then the next day a miracle drug comes out! I just truly don’t know what the right decision is right now since there is not one person in this world that has an answer of how September will be. I’m worried waiting a year will cause me even more stress because of the baby thing. I’m surrounding by women my age in my life that have already tried for years and after 3 years resorted to IVF. So I’m scared to put that off longer not knowing how things will go with that! It’s just all too much and it’s causing me so much anxiety and stress either way I look at it!

Im starting to panic and thinking about changing the date to 2021. Everything is so uncertain that its hard to know how things will be next year. What if I postpone and then things are the same next year.

That’s the exact same thing! I just talked to my venue and priest and they think we should keep our date! I’m shocked and it doesn’t help make my decision easier.

Hey everyone...so my concern is what if we postpone to later this year and then September 5 comes and is the most perfect day ever...and then a new spike happens in October and we have to postpone again!!! I will be soooo sad cuz we could have just gone through with the September date. I don't know what to do. I hate that we are living in fear of life. There is no guarantee for anything...staying in...going out. And not to mention there are so many things that can happen to you on a daily basis, not just the coronavirus. Which is why you just have to stay prayed up. Just because the world has stopped living, life is still going on and will continue to do so even if we stay locked up in our homes. What is the real solution??????? Sorry for the rant it's just really starting to seem like a cover up for something else. Any who.....we haven't decided one way or another yet. Frustrating!
