How is your planning coming along? Have you booked anything yet?

I got invested into planning early on, but the only thing we’ve officially booked is our venue and officiant. We have some family and friends with skills who have already shared their desire to help us out with DJ and photography, and my aunt is a florist who wants to help us. I go to my first dress shop experience next month!

Yes! This happened to me too and I was shocked since everyone had been telling me I was 'tooooo early' and crazy lol! My venue had been booked for the weekend before my date!

Yay for date twins! We haven’t really booked anything yet as we are being extremely picky about what we want. This will be my second marriage and I want it to be perfect and better than my last one. We have a few venues in mind and I just went dress shopping yesterday! We are hoping to get the venue booked by next week!

Wedding date twinies! We are really going at it! Just trying to cross out as many things we know for sure. We have booked the venue and looking at caters. We are getting quotes for floral and alcohol. I did go on dress shopping and it is addicting! Lol I had to hold myself back from wanting to go try on every weekend.

I feel so overwhelmed with the planning. There’s so much to do and I want everything to be perfect. I plan to book my venue next month and continue to search for the perfect dress.

Hi! I also feel overwhelmed with planning. The only contract I’ve signed has been for my photographer and my church/officiant. I’m stressing over finding The One for my reception venue...especially since our one year mark is coming up quick. We haven’t had time to schedule too many visits to venue sites. So that’s next on my checklist!

Hi! I've been engaged 2 weeks and I'll have my venue booked sunday (our tour date) and I'm dress shopping this weekend - since most shops take 6 month to get a dress in and my aunt is a seamstress so she'll need the time for my alterations. But mainly weve set a budget and just narrowed down ideas and started requesting information from services to compare!

I’m getting married on November 14th, 2020 in Orlando! We booked our venue and dj last week. We’re getting ready to send out save the dates pretty soon since we have people coming from Turkey, Brazil and Canada. It’s so exciting but definitely overwhelming too! So much to do!

Alright all I have planned so far is our reception venue, which includes catering! Am I way behind?? We are meeting with a photographer next week and I have an appointment to try on dresses at the end of January! I just don’t know what to do next??

Hi Stephanie! Congrats on your engagement I have booked the venue place, a beautiful avocado farm in Miami. We booked the DJ as well. We still deciding the catering. I will be starting to check dresses on February. I already have planned all the decoration.

Hey y’all!! So I’ve book my photographer and a musical band.
I’m struggling with venues!! I’m having a church ceremony and venues around this area are very pricey and not that good. So I’m looking at like a town or two over but the struggle would be the drive. Eh
Also my photographer is great but she’s pregnant, she’s due in like March so I’m very nervous that she might flake. She kinda flaked on our engagement pictures we were supposed to do them in the mountains but because her other baby was sick, we did them in a park. Ugh talk about wedding planning stress

We have a lot of the big things booked! Including the venue, caterer, DJ, photographer, videographer, and guitarist! We are doing a lot of DIYs including the flowers. I have tried on a few dresses but will probably wait until after the holidays to purchase one.

Update:

We meet with our catering person today, we explained what we want for our wedding, our expectations. It seems that she understood perfectly what we have in mind!! we are very satisfied.

Also, we found the app "The Guest", a photo sharing app that uses the photos taken on your cellphone only during an specific date and time. We will be asking our guests to use this app to upload all photos they take during our wedding. Sounds like fun, right?
