Coronavirus & Destination Wedding

Oh no! I’m so sorry for this added stress.. I would wait and see— which I know sucks to do.. keep calling where the wedding is and checking travel restrictions..

Yes. We're supposed to get married April 4th, but we might have to postpone. I'm trying to wait and see for more news, and right now everything seems straight ahead. His mom probably should not fly, and that may force our hand at this point. I'm not sure if delaying by a month will help either.

Did you contact your venue to hear their protocol ?

I am supposed to get married in Dominican Republic on May 2nd as well! We aren't making any decisions right now. We are going to see what happens towards the end of the month and revisit it then but are keeping an eye on the travel restrictions. So far, none of our guests (approx 35) have said anything about being concerned but it is really stressful. Hang in there Jannie!

My destination wedding is June 6th in Jamaica. I'm doing my best to stay prayerful and hopeful that the virus won't impact our wedding. Stress level is on 100 though.
