Hi ladies,

Out of curiosity, are you ladies postponing or cancelling your weddings? My fiancé and I were supposed to get married on April 18th, but three weeks ago we decided to move it to August 30th. Almost our entire guest list is able to make the new date (~120 people), but we’ll see when the time gets closer. I’m really hopeful about our new wedding date, and I’m praying every day that things start to improve as people comply with the new guidelines— I would be so happy to see some kind of normalcy by June. What are you ladies thinking about doing?

May 23 postponed to November 28. We sent invitation and are waiting on roughly 90, but I need I get out change the dates soon. I think many people were waiting to RSVP because of the situation. Fingers crossed second time is a charm.

Hi everyone. I'm very sorry for the brides who had to cancel at the last minute. We were planned for October 9, 2020 but decided to postpone to April 9, 2021. I'm hope and pray everything is back to normal by the fall but with my FH not being able to work and we don't know how long that will last and me finishing up nursing school and I won't start work until July, we made the decision early to postpone. Wishing everyone well wishes and hope that at some point we all get to have the wedding that our heart desires. Whatever that may look like for you!!

Wedding is June 26, just waiting out April to see what happens. Either way we are getting married that day (if allowed) whether it’s 10 people or our 200+ people wedding

I’m a June 26th bride and I’ve been having anxiety about this too, I’ve also stopped wedding planning. It’s just the not knowing if we should postpone or not that is killing me

Our wedding was supposed to be July 11th, we decided to wait it out until the end of May and see if things get better. I live in NYC and it’s getting worse everyday out here but we are hopeful that things will get better. I reached out to all the vendors and they were all so understanding if we decided to postpone. I wish everyone good luck and hopefully things go back to normal soon.

October 2020 to September 2021. Tough decision but it was far more important to enjoy planning our wedding rather than worry over something 100% out of our control. Thoughts and prayers to all of the 2020 brides!❤️

FH and I are postponing our wedding to April/May 2021. Hopefully, things are better by then and we're able to get our life started. Being far out seemed like we wouldn't be affected but when we considered those potentially impacted we thought this would be best for us and our loved ones. Best of luck ladies!

We just got engaged April 1st, we’ve always thought around August/September of 2020 so we’re hoping we can book somewhere September 5th, i think it will be a good time before the second wave but after things have calmed down, I also think the second wave won’t be as bad because we will be more prepared for it. I just know june/July/August are going to be absolutely crazy with planning and booking everything and the shower and bachelorette party and engagement party! I’m trying to get a head start by planning now but we’re doing everything fast. Worst comes to worst we’ll do a small backyard wedding of just family in September and a reception summer or early spring 2021

We postponed only a few months. Originally we were having an afternoon ceremony of May 3rd but have now pushed it back to July 17th
If we pushed it back much farther our vendors said they'd have to start charging fees...

My wedding was September 27th 2020. I’ve decided to postpone my wedding until September 26th 2021. This is for the safety of my friends and family.

That makes me sad that the vendors aren't being as flexible as others. I'm hoping that everything will start to normalize by June so that by July, you'll be in the clear to have your wedding. I'm thinking of you girl!
