Cool wedding date coincidence

What a fun coincidence! And I love going back to read old emails, IM chats, whatever...it reminds you of so many memories and how far you've come as a couple. To me its like going back to read old journals- some of it is really cringe worthy, some of it is silly, some heartwarming, but all of it reminds you of your past hopes and dreams and where you are now compared.

Aw! I love those kind of coincidences! Frame em! My fiancee and I are getting married 5 years to the date she proposed and on her 30th birthday. Kinda just worked out that way without too much planning on our end, but in some way it makes the date that much more special.

Very cool! FH and I are getting married on the 9th anniversary of our first date.

That's awesome! I love stuff like that. We got married on our officiant's birthday. We got engaged on my friend's birthday (who also styled my hair for the wedding). When you said cool wedding date and I saw when it was, I thought it was going to be because it's pi day--3.1415...

We are getting married 5-15-15. Not sentimental but a somewhat cool date. We didn't plan it that way. We just wanted a Friday in May and that is what the venue had available.

We are getting married on our 10 year anniversary. Ours was definitely planned though.

DH proposed (for real) exactly 1 year after we met.

I've married couples on our wedding anniversary and on my birthday.

I officiated my brother's wedding on the 16th anniversary of their first date.

It wasn't really coincidence since ours was all planned, but we got engaged on our 5th anniversary and we're getting married on our 6th!

That's cool!!! We kinda had the same thing happen! Our original wedding date was 6/13/15 but that was booked so we moved it to 7/11/15. We started dating on 2/12 (I wish it would have been official on 2/11), we got engaged on 8/11, my bridal shower is planned for 4/11 and our wedding is on 7/11 LOL. Damn that being one day off for our dating anniversary haha

My FH met on okcupid also. Before we both deactivated our accounts, we saved all of our messages. I would like to get it bound at Kinkos or something one day!

@Jenn, have you tried to log back in and see if they're still in your message cache? I deactivated my account a week after I met FH two years ago, but I reactivated it for the 40 seconds it took to copy and save the emails and promptly deactivated again. They had saved everything.

Funny story that sort of relates!

FH and I have a dating anniversary of June 28, 2008. When we had been together for about 6 months, and started talking about marriage, I was giggling with my best friends about how much I would love to get married on our dating anniversary.

Just for fun, we pulled out the calendar and saw that the 28th didnt fall on a Saturday until 2014. I was like "there is no way we will wait that long to get married, so oh well."

The joke was on me when june 28, 2014 came and went, and we weren't even engaged yet! HA HA! He cracked up when I told him that story when all was said and done!
