Confetti Toss - Need suggestions!

Future Mrs. Fox, on September 4, 2014 at 10:48 AM Posted in Planning 0 7

I would like to do a confetti toss (using the eco-friendly confetti) after the ceremony. Ideally, I'd like for it to happen as we are walking down the aisle together after the ceremony. I'm not sure if this will work or not....I'm concerned that the people that are seating on the far end of the rows will not be able to participate. Thoughts??

Typically if you do it during the ceremony its an aisle only kind of think. similar to ribbon wands.

my venue wont allow any confetti Smiley sad

I bought these confetti poppers for the wedding party.

    http://www.amazon.com/Spring-Loaded-Wedding-Poppers-gunpowder/dp/B00AUTUM1I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1409842868&sr=8-1&keywords=wedding+confetti+poppers

It's gonna be in their gift bags. My MOH will tell them to use it as soon as FH breaks the glass (we're having a traditional Jewish Wedding).

I'm hoping it comes off cute and not awkward...

Double check with your venue that you can even do it - many don't allow confetti (even an eco-friendly kind), glitter, rice, etc. to be thrown because they end up cleaning it up.

Most likely the people at the ends of the rows won't be able to "participate" in the traditional sense that it wont go on you. But they can still throw it up in the air.

We are planning to use dried lavender to do something similar. But will probably only give it to people sitting on the inner half of the aisle if we do. Our other thought is that we will have the BM/MOH pull down "confetti" when we have our first kiss... like the picture below.

I thought you were suppose to do this when you are exiting the VENUE! OUTSIDE! Whats the point of eco-friendly confetti if you are doing it indoors? You still have to clean it up!

I have asked the venue and he said that eco-confetti is okay to use. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the "pulling down the confetti" idea! It would make for the best "first kiss" pictures!! (I might have to rethink my original idea now Smiley smile ) Confetti poppers are a great idea too but unfortunately we have to use the biodegradable kind so they can just spray the yard down to clean up.

We are not having our wedding inside...the ceremony will be outside. Sorry I didn't clarify that earlier.

OHHHHH! That makes much more sense now! And I don't know why I assumed it would be inside, mine is going to be outside as well... sorry about that! Then yes, walking down the aisle would be a great time since you are literally not walking out of a venue. You can make your own poppers if you want using the bio-degradable confetti!
