Classical Music for Wedding

Stefanie, on August 25, 2019 at 1:49 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 3
Hello everyone,

I am looking for some beautiful and different classical pieces of music to walk down the aisle to.

Everyone suggests these but I want something different:

  1. Air on the G String | JS Bach
  2. Suite for Solo Cello | JS Bach
  3. Clair de Lune | Debussy
  4. Arioso | JS Bach
  5. Jesus, Joy of Man’s Desiring | JS Bach
  6. Air from Water Music | Handel
  7. Canon in D (aka ‘Pachelbel’s Canon) | Pachelbel
  8. Bridal Chorus | Richard Wagner
  9. Prince of Denmark’s March Trumpet Voluntary | Clarke
  10. Trumpet Tune | Clarke Purcell
  11. Wedding March | Mendelssohn
  12. Ode to Joy | Beethoven
  13. Rondeau | Mouret
  14. Hornpipe – Water Music | Handel
  15. Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 | JS Bach
  16. Spring from Four Seasons | Vilvaldi

Have you checked out songs by vitamin string quartet, piano guys, brooklyn duo, etc? They do covers of modern songs but only play the instrumentals - I walked down to la vie en rose covered by Brooklyn duo.

    Hey there Stefanie!

Have you hired musicians to play your ceremony music? If so, you should definitely speak with them and see if they have any suggestions of music to play. I’m sure they would have some excellent input and ideas Smiley smile

I love Vitamin String Quartet’s cover versions. They make everything sounds classical, even super modern songs!
