Cinnamon rolls????

So FHs family is formerly Amish, and FMIL has her own baking business in NC where she lives. Everyone is nuts over her homemade cinnamon rolls. Would it be weird if I did these as a favor in individual cupcake boxes? I think it's a near idea but at the same time Im afraid people might think its strange? Our wedding is outdoors, very rustic and the reception will be held in the mouth of a cave. Our colors are navy blue & light pink, I'm thinking navy boxes for them.

What do you ladies think? Weird or cute? Lol

Ooh, YUM! I think when it comes to favors, the more personal the better. And you can't go wrong with something edible! I'd probably have mine eaten before it was even dinner time. Lol It's a great idea!

Sounds like a great idea. I think most people prefer food favors anyway. Who doesn't like a cinnamon bun homemade.

As Nike would say, "JUST DO IT!" ....and send me one! LOL!

We are thinking maple candies and glazed pecans because he is from up here and i am from the south! ...and ironically this was either my mom's idea or my aunt's idea, but we kinda like it! We have to pack them a week or 2 before, to keep them fresh, but I already assembled 100 little white Wilton favor boxes.

PS- reception in the mouth of a cave... sounds awesome!

Thanks for the input ladies! I guess I was just overthinking it, cinnamon rolls it is!!! Now to find cute boxes that don't cost a ton!

You could probably find boxes at a restaurant supply place online. Add a ribbon or sticker with your names or something and voila.
