So FHs family is formerly Amish, and FMIL has her own baking business in NC where she lives. Everyone is nuts over her homemade cinnamon rolls. Would it be weird if I did these as a favor in individual cupcake boxes? I think it's a near idea but at the same time Im afraid people might think its strange? Our wedding is outdoors, very rustic and the reception will be held in the mouth of a cave. Our colors are navy blue & light pink, I'm thinking navy boxes for them.

What do you ladies think? Weird or cute? Lol

I am very envious of this, what a great favor. Try Ebay for boxes. I bought my daughter's cake boxes there very reasonably. We will dress the plain white boxes up with labels with her artwork.

I am not a big fan of favors. But a cinnamon roll? Now THAT'S a favor I would love to receive.

Are they too big for cupcake boxes? I know oriental trading has pretty cute boxes and for not too bad of a price.

Great idea. I love your colors too. I wanted navy and pink but FH said he did not think they went together and I would be laughed at. I should not take fashion advice from my daily camo wearing man..haha...but I do so love him.

It's a fantastic idea. FMIL may have a business venture there...seriously. In fact, I might even go as far as printing the words, "Something sweet for the morning after..." on each of your boxes. I promise you, your guests will love it.

Personally, I'd look at that and say, "Excellent. I'm having this with my first, fresh, hot cup of coffee tomorrow morning". Then I'd thank you silently as I enjoyed it.

Thanks everyone! I'm pretty excited about them now! I actually had the thought about making a tag about having then for breakfast... But in bit sure yet. Don't want to make people feel guilty for eating them that night! Haha...

FMIL actually does have a business with her baking Smiley smile she makes cinnamon rolls and breads as well. She sells at local stores around her house.
