After 7 years of dating and just getting over a 6 month hiccup in the road Will surprised me on Christmas Eve and proposed. He started off the morning by having me dress up and told me that we were going in the car somewhere. While driving in the car he told me to put on a blind fold so that I couldn't see. Then we got out of the car and continued to walk through Seattle (which I am sure looked lovely with me blind folded). At one point he had me sit on a bench and told me to stay put, like I was going anywhere blind folded. After he had me sitting by myself blind folded he took my hand and led me onto an elevator. When the elevator stopped we got out he had me standing in place and told me that I could take off the blind fold. And there we were on the top of the Space Needle with Will down on one knee asking me to marry him. We were both shaking and of course with tears rolling down me face I hugged him and said YES! To top it off my dad was there with us to take awesome pictures and memorable video. Now after a 3yr engagement and our 10year milestone of dating we have set a date. This fall we will become husband and wife. We couldn't be a happier and more in love.
