Choosing a ring bearer

Lan, on September 23, 2020 at 4:32 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 7
Hi everyone! I’m having difficulties with choosing the ring bearer. Do the ring bearer usually walk by them self or with a small little girl. Another question I wanted to also know what age you have to be a ring bearer?

There’s no specific age. Typically the ring bearer will walk with the flower girl if there is one.

You don't have to have a ring bearer or flower girl if you don't have special kids in your life. Or you can just have one and not the other. Whatever works for you is fine.

It can go however you choose. And there’s no age limit either. Our 2 year old will be our ring bearer but I’ve also seen where babies are considered the ring bearer as well

There’s no age limit. We’re having our 9 yr old niece for our flower girl & her 2.5 yr old brother for our ring bearer. He’s really attached to his older sister so he won’t be too scared to walk with her.

My husband chose our Godson to be the ring bearer and he’ll be 12 when we have our ceremony. He’ll walk by himself since I have 2 flower girls.

Our ring bearer will be 5 going on 6 at the time of our wedding and it will be his third time being in a wedding! (He's the only little boy between both of our families haha.) He was in a two ceremonies last year, and he was 3/ turning 4. At those, he walked down the aisle with the flower girl who was a year older than him and pretty much had to pull him down the aisle. It was funny and adorable.

He will probably walk down the aisle alone at our wedding because 1) we will have two flower girls who will walk together, 2) since he will be older he hopefully won't need to be holding someone's hand and 3) he's now had some practice
