Children vs wedding party

Our kids are 11, 13 and 13. They will be our wedding party during the ceremony. Otherwise we would have a wedding party that are total strangers (with friends from all over the world) My topic is this: During our reception, we'd like to choose a few good friends to sit with us at our table. The kids will have much more fun at a kids table! It's difficult to choose 6 friends to sit at our table when we didn't choose a wedding party. I guess you've got to just choose, but I don't want anyone's feelings hurt.

Hmmm instead of sitting with 6 people, i would opt for a sweetheart table. No feelings hurt and the kids can have fun.

Hey there Angela!
I'd imagine your kids are very excited about being in your wedding party
If you're afraid of hurting anyone, perhaps a sweetheart table may be the best option. If you're not aware of what this is, a sweetheart table is a table for the two newlyweds.
Another idea would be having you and your SO's parents join you at the top table.
How many guests in total will be attending the wedding?
