Cheap venue

Im in Fort Lauderdale and suggest you look into Thursday dates , they are much less expensive than any other day , also is 10k for the venue or the whole thing ? And how far south would you be willing to go there is one called spur of the moment in Redlands it’s very pretty and not too expensive

Hi Melissa!! Welcome to WeddingWire!! My idea is along the lines of Kate's. I would look into parks and rec departments, maybe local historic parks/gardens/properties. At least in my area of not Florida, you can rent out places for relatively affordable prices because they're considered donations toward the house/mansion/whatever. Plus, you can bring in your own vendors. I'll link you to the historic venues in the WeddingWire vendor directory below in case you need an idea of what sort of places I'm talking about.

Historic venues in Tampa area

Im getting married at Lakeside Ranch in Inverness, FL and it has beautiful landscape. It was the cheapest venue that I toured and the the most beautiful. They provide minimal decorations and tables and chairs. You provide all other vendors as long as they meet their insurance requirements. They provide you with a vendor list to help you with this. You can get married under the oak trees overlooking the lake, or if it rains they have a plan B that isn't an ugly white tent. The reception is in a new fully enclosed barn with A/C. Definitely worth checking out!

Check out vista lago ballroom and search around for a few other all inclusive places around the south Miami area. Also check out redland farm life. They have packages that are affordable and great location.
It also depends on the size of your wedding but I’d opt for a Thursday wedding or ask them which days and times are less expensive. Matheson hammocks park is beautiful and I believe there’s little it no cost for the park but everything is DYI there. Tropical park might offer the same and if you’re having a small wedding check out the keys!

Just as Brittany stated, if you are willing to travel to Miami, I would check out Vista Lago Ballroom. My reception will be held there, they are a location that includes liquor, catering, dj, cake, tables, chairs, linens, even centerpiece floral arrangements. you can have both ceremony and reception at this location if you'd like.
