Does anyone have any ideas for an inexpensive Philadelphia Wedding? My fiance and I want to get married in Center City on a $10,000 budget with approx. 120 guests. It seems that most venues require that we use their caterer and prices are around 120 per person. To me this is crazy. Any ideas?

Anything in center city is gonna be expensive, especially for anything decent and not in a run down area. You could head just over the bridge to Jersey and find some nice options for a lot less. Wish I had better suggestions but I am getting married in Philly as well so I can tell ya it's a pricey place!

I have to agree with Laura....you arent going to find anything cheap in Center City. Try looking at the surrounding areas....or consider doing a cocktail style reception to cut costs. You will still have tons of food, just not the formal "sit down" dinner.
