Changing Wedding Website URL

Ok so I originally had my website as www.weddingwire.com/benandbeth2014. I decided to buy www.benandbeth2014 from Go Daddy after I had finished my website. I tried to follow the instructions on how to make my WW website into my new URL and I just can't figure it out. Has anyone done it that can help?

When you purchase the URL from GoDaddy, it just forwards to your WW website. It won't change the actual link to your wedding website. When guests type in "www.benandbeth2014.com," they'll be forwarded to the right site, but the URL at the top of the page will still be the WW address. Hope this helps!

Hey Beth,

@FlowerChild is exactly right. You will have to edit your settings within your GoDaddy account to forward your purchased domain back to WW.
