Changing a wedding date after sending out save the dates due to venue issues

Hey girl! Hate to hear that as I'm sure it's been frustrating. Do you have a wedding website? If so, I would post on there and let friends and family know. You can always send the invitations out a little earlier with the updated venue info and maybe a note stating you've changed the location?

I’d just send out a new card ASAP with wording something like this!

You can totally send a follow-up STD once you secure a new venue and date to let guests know. The examples Gen sent are perfect.

If the date is going to be sooner now, or the venue very far away from where you were originally were having it, I would try to get it sent out ASAP.

If the new venue is pretty close to the original venue, and the date remains the same, you could always send your invitations out earlier to save yourself the cost of redoing the STDs.

Updating your wedding website is also a great idea.
