It's time to pop the bubbly! 🍾 If you have it! Smiley surprise With tons of other boozy decisions like flat rate or consumption, top shelf or middle tier, liquor or just wine and beer - it can be easy to forget about the champagne! While champagne toasts used to be a top tradition, it's just as easy to cheers with whatever drink is already in your glass.

How do you feel about champagne? Is it a 'need to have' or a 'nice to have'?🥂

For me, it's a need to have! We will have an open bar but only with a few options, so this is a nice added thing for everyone to get a couple glasses during toasts.

Nice to have. Our venue has a champagne toast with the package we chose so it's available but we had said it wasn't necessary from the beginning. People can toast with what they have.

It was a need to have for me on my wedding day! I feel like it's something special to cheers on your special day. I don't necessarily think it's a necessity though. I think it can be just something nice to have. If the venue doesn't include it, toasting with whatever is in your glass is just fine to save some money.

Nice to have, though you may as well just drink what you have.

A need to have for a wedding in my opinion. if you want a dry wedding that is different.

Right? What they should say is: open bar - necessary or not? LOL. I'm all in!

Nice to have. I’m not a fan. We’ll have punch and tea.

100% optional. Not a fan and many people don't like the taste of champagne and prefer to drink whatever is offered at the bar, so much goes to waste.

Nice to have. I bought cheap champagne to just have plus sparkling cider. No one coming to the wedding (less than 10) likes champagne.
