Ceremony Video: Worth it? Do you watch it?

Our wedding is in October but it was important for us to get the full ceremony edit with the package

I would definitely get the full ceremony edit! We only have our raw footage so far and we’ve already watched the ceremony like a dozen times 😅

My videographer does the full ceremony/some reception footage and the highlight video. I would have been fine with just the highlight video and pictures but they do both. If you can get just the highlight video do it! If the vows are important, ask them to be included in the highlight video. (they usually are anyway) good luck

I hate to do this but I am going to add a morbid twist. I was married in 2005 and we used a videographer. This was THE BEST decision I ever made. My husband passed away late in 2006 but not before I got pregnant with our daughter. I am so grateful that I have this video to give to my daughter. She is 12 now and has not watched it yet but I have it neatly packed away with our wedding rings and my wedding tiara. All of which I will pass to her when she is old enough to appreciate them

Long story short, make the investment because you do not know what the future holds. Plus it is fun to go back and watch your special day

I don't see the point of a highlight reel myself. But that being said we watch my parents wedding video, it wasn't done professionally and it's adorable.
The preist called both my parents the wrong names and their cameraman friend got the most priceless reactions on video 🤣
So overall I'd say record the entire ceremony even if it's home video.
