Ceremony Programs - Need to Have or Nice to Have?

I don't think these are a necessity. They are nice to have to provide your guests with information about the ceremony and the wedding party, but not a "have to"

My wedding is in June and it's outdoors, so we are doing wedding program fans.

Nice to have. We skipped these because our ceremony was super short and straight-forward. At weddings where we were guests, we often see these tossed anyways.

Nice to have, but i feel like they aren't really neccessary. Cute but they get thrown away or nobody uses them

Nice to have. I’d like to create one that is for both the ceremony and reception, but it is low on my to-do list.

Nice to have, but our ceremony was relatively short and simple, so we didn't see a need for them!

Nice to have. We're not doing one. Extra work and money for probably a 15 to 20 minute ceremony lol.

We would love to have these!!! But we decided not to!!!

Nice but not needed, unless you are having a religious/cultural ceremony that is very different or perhaps in another language.

Nice to have, we will be skipping on programs as it's just one more thing to buy for a twenty minute ceremony

We are going to forgo programs! As a wedding guest, I really don’t like carrying them around with, haha, and as a bride, I want to save that money! We are going to have a sign with the schedule on it up during the ceremony and reception so our guests know what’s happening when!

Nice to have I guess, but we won't be having them. Most people will just glance at them then they will be thrown away, it is an unnecessary expense I think.

Nice to have. I considered programs because half of our guests speak English and half speak Spanish but we are having a bilingual ceremony and it won’t be too long.

Neither. I find them pointless honestly.

Nice to have. Personally, I think it’s a waste of money. I think the program can tastefully be displayed on an aisle at the entrance of the church/venue.
