Ceremony Planning and Lovecast Livestreaming

Gnomi28, on August 9, 2020 at 10:04 AM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 6
My wedding is next month and I'm trying to finalize some details about the ceremony. Who all walks down the aisle? We have a small wedding party of one best man, one maid of honor, and one flower girl. We also have the officiant and two ushers.

Should we have 2 different songs for the MOH and Flower girl and then the bride? Or keep one continuous song for all 3?
Also has anyone used Love Cast to livestream their wedding? I can't find any reviews on it so I want some more input before I sign up for it.

I think that your bridal party should definitely walk down the aisle, & song wise that’s completely up to you! Personally for my wedding I wanted my “own song” so after the bridal party walks down it will be switched. That’s definitely preference!

Hi Gnomi28! Here's a helpful article that reviews processional order: The Wedding Processional Order, Explained, and the number of songs is up to you!

If you want to use a different song for your entrance, then I'd recommend choosing an instrumental song for your bridal party since you'll need to fade it out so quickly! 🎵

I also did a quick search for Lovecast but couldn't find any mentions or reviews on WeddingWire.

Thank you! I'm definitely looking at instrumental songs. I think I have one picked out for me, but still looking for a good MoH and Flower Girl song. I also asked a local wedding planning group on Facebook about Love Cast and everyone says that it was great! Thanks for the suggestions!

Hey!! Did you end up going with LoveCast? If so, did you do the free version?

Hi! Yes I did do Lovecast, but I thought there was only a free version? I didn't pay a dime for it, so unless they've updated it since my September wedding, then I'm not sure if you'd have to pay for it. My only issue was that we got married at a park and had very bad reception, so the connection to the livestream was choppy and not very enjoyable for the virtual guests. Of course this is totally not Lovecast's fault, I just didn't have a good data connection at our location. However, the whole video saved onto my phone anyway, and it was a perfect video, uninterrupted. So I was able to upload it to the Lovecast website later so that the virtual guests who had a link could watch it later! I totally recommend Lovecast! Congrats on your upcoming wedding too. Hope this helps!
