Help!!

My fiancé and I have been planning our Maui wedding for the last two years, but with Covid we are looking into getting married here because some of our guests don’t feel comfortable flying.
In Maui we were paying $5600 for an outdoor reception on the water for 30 people. This price included food and alcohol. Our ceremony cost was going to be $400 after hiring the officiant and obtaining the beach permit.
Where on the central coast can I find a venue that isn’t more expensive than what we were going to pay for a MAUI Resort? I’ve been looking in the Pismo/Avila area and I just can’t imagine paying MORE money for a California wedding than we would have for our Hawaiian wedding.
We have been waiting to get married for the last two years. We will be getting married in November no matter what!

Are there any state parks in that area? They will often let you use them for weddings at a good price.

Hi Rebecca! You should definitely be able to find something that's close to $100-$150 per person for food and booze!

Try reaching out to Madonna Inn and The Penny in San Luis Obispo, and Robin's Restaurant and Garden in Cambria - they look like they could be a good fit for you!

    Hi Rebecca,

I've heard good things about Robin's in Cambria. I was going to suggest Windows on the Water in Morro but they're a restaurant and I don't know what the Governor's orders will look like on indoor dinning by then. I had initially looking into Central Coast venues but most were super expensive, in my opinion. Good luck.
