Celestial/Planet centerpieces done! (10 pics)

So I don't know if anyone really remembers but I struggled with my theme for a long time. We are doing a Doctor Who inspired celestial/starry night theme. We have labeled our tables by planets instead of numbers and built these centerpieces ourselves. Our reception is outside (and during a lunar eclipse!)

Oh and they will be sitting on a mirror etc but that is not pictured here (the mirrors and etc parts are already packed up for the wedding).

I think they came out pretty well!

Those are really neat. I like the texturing on the planets. Is your reception space going to have dimmed lights? I think that would really add to it.

Yes, it's on a balcony and it's dimly lit out there.

We put people we didn't care too much for at Skaro (they wont know the difference haha)

They were so fun to make!

Wow! I'm seriously impressed! We are both geeks but just couldn't get it together enough to think of a cohesive geeky theme that wouldn't clash or be too difficult so we just went something mainstream. This is super cool and I'm totally excited to hear how your big day turns out when it all comes together!

So cute!! I don't know anything about Dr Who, but I just wanted to throw in a plug for Pluto. Poor Pluto gets left out of everything. I totally think you should add a Pluto table

As a Neil deGrasse Tyson fan I CAN'T add Pluto LOL (although I did add earth's moon so...I guess I could have!)
We put the kids at Saturn!
Didn't use earth, either, in fear it would just kinda look like a globe
Love the sun idea but I REALLY wanted to sit at Gallifrey!
