Catholic Wedding Programs -Full Mass

Vi, on April 7, 2014 at 11:46 AM Posted in Planning 2 4

Hi Ladies! I need help for my June wedding! I'm having a full catholic wedding with mass when the majority of my guests are not Catholic. I need to make a super detailed wedding program. I have seen some of the bare bones templates online but am needing more. Do you any of ya'll have any programs of your own to share?

If you look for just a general mass program, it will have a lot more Catholic mass-specific detail. Then, just combine that with the wedding template, and you should have a full Catholic wedding program.

I would personally leave out the stuff you would find in an order of mass (like responses, etc), b/c the non-Catholics shouldn't feel obligated to participate in that way, and in some cases, it would be inappropriate for them to do so. Also, if you feel like anything should be explained (e.g., sign of peace), I'd include that as a separate part of the program, rather than trying to put it in with the "timeline" of the ceremony.

Thanks all! I would prefer to put responses and sit/stand cues as even the Catholics in the family aren't so great at participating especially with the new responses. I don't want awkward mumbling, haha.

Just because you make that information available, doesn't mean people will use it. Your church doesn't still have the cheat seats in the pews for the new text?
