Caterer Needed

My caterer backed out and my wedding is in a little over 4 months! I'm going insane! My last caterer was charging $8 per plate for just the food catering, no drinks or anything because we already have that taken care of from a different company. Does anyone know of a cheap caterer that does a good job?

I think any true wedding caterer will gouge you based on the timing and your desperation! Are there any local restaurants nearby that you like? They will probably be able to charge less. Also, not sure if the caterer was going to provide you with wait staff, but booking food and staff separately may save money, as well. I think a lot of brides have gotten good deals by going with local bar b q restaurants, which are able to cook a lot of food at low cost.
